ABOUT
ALBUM

Idea of the album
Since my childhood, when I would see people applauding an artist or a music group on a stage, feelings of joy and excitement would overwhelm me. I would often think, “I want to be on that stage too, I want to be the source of that joy that appears on the faces of those people.” Different people coming together to admire what they see, regardless of their culture, religion, ideology, or country. Today, I am living that dream. Every time I step on a stage and see that beautiful sight before me, people from all corners of the world, images from my childhood come back to me. I have this perfectionism within me that drives me to work daily to satisfy each person who comes to listen to me. I love making them feel my artistic vibrations.
A few years ago, I was focused on my musical and personal growth, which taught me to move forward with serenity and become the artist I am today.
I am a graduate of the Moroccan Andalusian school. Certainly, it is an identity deeply rooted in me, and I strive to incorporate this influence into my music to always highlight my culture and work on it tastefully. Throughout my career, thanks to my concerts, I have met artistically and culturally diverse people. This has taught me to always be attentive to everyone’s influences, enriching me and bringing me a wealth of ideas. An artist should not impose limits on themselves, and with my team, we have decided to embark on a project for a fusion album – world music while still preserving my traditional identity, building upon what I have already achieved on my previous albums. “ANDALUSIAN ECHOS” was released in the Netherlands with the “Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra” in 2017, followed by “RAHET W MCHAT” in 2018, and the highly successful “L3ATAR” in 2021. This album recently came to fruition with the release of the first song, “l9ili w l9ala” (written and composed by myself, arranged by Simo Nakraoui). It reflects a beautiful blend of musical cultures and has achieved great success. This encourages us to finalize the other songs and prepare them for a potential release.
